Our team has a wealth of experience in assessment and management of neurogenic communication and swallowing disorders. Our treatments include:
- Stroke Management – Our special interests include in Intensive Treatment of Aphasia, Instrumental Swallowing Assessment and Dysphagia Rehabilitation.
- Motor Neuron Disease – One of our senior clinicians, Sally Pittendrigh, provides services to the Macquarie Neurology MND Service in addition to our community support of complex communication and swallowing needs.
- Parkinson’s Disease – We have five LSVT Loud practitioners in our group and can provide intensive voice programs in homes or clinics. These programs are backed by the highest level of evidence in the field of interventions for motor speech impairment.
